Our red carpet with “celebs” Young Thug, Kourtney Kardashian, Pete Davidson, YUNGBLUD and a surprise comeback from Whitney Houston!
Later on Zoom, VMCers interviewed Atlanta visual artist Dubelyoo and then hit the (shady) streets with a camera to ask young people “How much did your outfit cost?” and “What music are you curently bumping to?”

Topics included: human trafficking, a guide to freshman year, why video games aren’t fun anymore, Black salary inequality, free things to do in Atlanta and a video package interviewing young Atlantans on the summer fashions. And of course, there was celebratory ice cream cake!

We also had a photo op in front of the massive piece of modern art in the atrium lobby at the Hyatt Regency, which was Atlanta’s first fully integrated hotel when it opened in 1967.

Sidenote: All of these dudes are either in college, graduated or got jobs in the “real world” now 😂. Time flies. #vmc22 #youthvoice #atlanta #hiphop

After an exciting first day of #VMC22 one of our dearest alums and former VMC intern Kenneth stopped by while he was in town. You already know we had to snap a flick with this summer’s alumni intern Amariyah. If you scroll deep enough down our timeline you may find photos and videos of when these two (one is a college senior, the other a recent college grad) were once teens at VOX ATL. Time flies. #onceavoxeralwaysavoxer
