One Wish

If I could have one wish, what would it be?

Would it be for super powers?

Could it be for respect?

Should it be for ever lasting life?

No, my only wish would be for your love.

I wish to be wrapped up in your arms.

I wish to be happy with you and start a life with you.

I wish you were here with me.

We’re so far away but yet feel so connected together.

You’re somewhere right now, probably with some new girl at your side.

Maybe she’s helped you forget all about me.

But I’ll never forget about you.

Because you were the first boy I ever fell in love with.

And right now all I do is sit here.

Looking up at the night sky.

Then I spotted the first star of the night.

And finally I said to the lonely little star:

“My little star, you understand my loneliness

My one wish is for him to return to me.

Return him back to me and let him love me as much as I love him.

Let him come to me and I say ‘I miss you. I’m sorry.’”

If I could have one wish, what would it be?

It would be you!
