MomoCon is a fast-growing national anime and gaming convention held each year in downtown Atlanta. This year, it was held May 26-29. The all-ages convention originally started in 2005 at Georgia Tech. In 2015, MomoCon attracted more than 22,600 attendees.

Alex, 18, who graduated high school last week and dressed as Roxy Lalonde from the webcomic "Homestuck," said she was there because she likes anime.Tai, 16, she/her, said she attended because she enjoys cosplaying, and it’s good place to hang out.Madison, she/her, 19, attends Augusta University, goes to MomoCon every year and likes meeting new people. Her cosplay is Harley Quinn from DC Comics.Will, 16, said he goes to MomoCon because it’s fun to be around people like him.
Eli, who turns 16 next week and attends The Paideia School, dressed as “Fullmetal Alchemist” manga character Edward Elric at Momocon this year.
