VOX ATL at Atlanta Area High Schools For National Walkout Day [VIDEO]

by share

On March 14, Metro Atlanta students as well as students all over America spoke out and protested against gun violence in schools on National Walkout Day. Since the sudden school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High in Parkland, FL, many people, students, parents and teachers wonder why schools aren’t safe from these kinds of things. Why is it so easy to go and get a gun and shoot up a school? It’s a problem. The students in this video are fighting this injustice by letting the world know that gun violence is not okay.

There are two more marches coming up on March 24 and April 20. Read more about them in VOX ATL staffer Beth’s piece,  “Everything Teens Should Know About the Gun Violence Walkouts.”
