When teens think of a fun place to go, Ponce City Market might not be the first thing that comes to mind.

Many likely perceive it as being only for adults. It features various adult-oriented amenities, including bars, yoga classes, mature restaurants, and a rooftop dining area. Despite that, Ponce City offers a variety of options for teens to experience and enjoy. These include trendy stores, mini golf, arcade games, creative workshops, access to the Beltline, and fun hangout spots for socializing.

This photo was taken outside of Ponce City Market near the Lululemon store. It can be observed that Ponce offers a variety of stores, a interactive roof experience, and a food hall.

Taken on the west side of Ponce City Market near the busy street, this photo captures one of Ponce’s entrances into the food hall, as displayed on the door.

Quynn Hill, a 14-year-old student, described Ponce City Market in three words: “fun, connecting, because you can connect with friends, family, and also the scenery is very pretty.” When asked what sets Ponce apart, she said, “Ponce is a really fun place to hang out with friends and go shopping, and also try new foods.”

According to Ponce City’s website, this building that now houses PCM was a Sears, Roebuck & Co. in the 1920s, then Atlanta’s City Hall East in the 1990s, and was later purchased by Jamestown and developed into the Ponce City Market we know today.

Ponce City hosts a variety of events, including workshops and seasonal events that rotate every other year.

This photo was captured from one of Ponce’s balconies. Alongside its vibrant indoor spaces, Ponce offers relaxing outdoor spots to socialize and enjoy stunning views.

“I love just being able to see my friends around here or family friends here,” Hill said. “Because it’s such a nice community.”
