Where Teens Speak and Atlanta Listens

Atlanta Teen Voices Journalism Fellowship

The Atlanta Teen Voices Journalism Fellowship is a 12-week program that offers teens the opportunity to develop their voices, hone their skills, and share their stories with the world. Fellows work alongside professional journalists and teen leaders to learn the art of reporting, writing, interviewing, photography, video, podcasting, and more.

How to Get Involved

During the fellowship, teens will:

  • Build confidence as writers, reporters, and creators

  • Produce and publish multimedia content with VOX ATL

  • Collaborate with peers to amplify teen voices across Atlanta

  • Present their work at a community showcase at the end of the program

How to Get Involved

All teens must register as a “VOXer” before applying for the fellowship.

Fellowship registration for Fall 2025 is now closed. To join the waitlist, contact Lauren McEwen, Program Director, at lauren@voxatl.org. However, the VOX ATL newsroom accepts applications year round. Follow VOX ATL on social media for updates about our Spring 2026 Opportunities!
