In Pursuit of Justice: Young Photographers Virtual Exhibit

Virtual Young Photographers Exhibit – Opening event, April 22, 2021 (livestream recording is linked here.)

VOX ATL partnered with the Center for Sustainable Journalism’s Bokeh Focus and the award-winning Getty Unshuttered photography program to co-create a 3D immersive virtual exhibit, showcasing personal perspectives of justice from young photographers. You can visit the virtual exhibit here.

To inspire the photography you see exhibited in the 3D gallery and in the photo essays below, we partnered with youthSpark, a nonprofit based in Fulton County Juvenile Court, to create a youth-led photography workshop series.  Teens recruited by youthSpark participated in VOX ATL’s interactive workshops (on Zoom), and received honoraria for their participation — and their publication.

We invited teens from around metro Atlanta to share their photos In Pursuit of Justice for publication and exhibition in the 3D gallery. Their work, including artists’ statements and captions, are below.
