“Dear Past Self”: VOX ATL and PADV Ask Atlanta Teens About Relationship Violence [AUDIO]

by share

On March 3, downtown Decatur was buzzing with student activity. Usually reserved for lacrosse games or standardized testing, Decatur High School was the site of the 9th annual Partnership Against Domestic Violence Teen Summit. In alliance with VOX Teen Communications, PADV sought to educate teens and young adults about intimate partner violence and empower its survivors. With teen leaders, speakers, and advocates present, I took this opportunity to ask a few teens one question: If you could write a letter to your past self, perhaps as a forewarning of relationships to come, what would you say?
