VOX ATL dives into the world of teen mental health at the National Coalition of 100 Black Women’s Teen Health Summit! In this video, we explore the real challenges today’s teens are facing — including anxiety, stress, and the pressures of social media. You’ll hear directly from teens as they open up about their experiences and share advice on managing mental wellness and practicing self-care.

  • Go Soar: A nonprofit dedicated to raising mental health awareness through programming and support for youth and parents in the metro-Atlanta area.

  • Crisis Text Line: Provides 24/7 free mental health support and crisis intervention to anyone in the U.S. Text HOME to 741741 to connect with a counselor.

  • Empowerment Resource Center: A hub for mental health resources and low-cost healthcare services through their clinic.

  • Free Your Feels: A mental health campaign offering resources for Georgia’s youth, including a toolkit specifically for Black youth that lists supportive organizations.

  • 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: A free national hotline for anyone experiencing a mental health crisis. Simply call 988 or visit the website for text and chat options.
