VOX ATL’s mobile-friendly, teen-informed survey helps adults who care about youth better understand teens’ wants and needs, and the data helps VOX ATL know what kind of content teens want.
The latest data reveal – 2021 data
We heard what GA youth had to say about mental health, out-of-school time & more at our latest Lights on Afterschool Event in October, 2021. Click here to enjoy the highlights of our virtual event — including our ever-popular Kahoot! and analysis by teens from VOX ATL and GCAPP’s Youth Advisory Council.

More than 900 teens from around Georgia took our survey in 2020. You can get the highlights from the 2020 Survey and “test” your knowledge in this interactive quiz.
This annual survey provides young people’s insights and perspectives to inform adults who work with and care about youth — and to inform VOX ATL’s next year of projects and coverage topics:
- What do teens need?
- Where are teens spending time outside of school?
- How do teens like to communicate?
- Where do teens feel valued?
- How do teens experience mental health resources?
VOX ATL created the Atlanta Teen Survey in 2015 to fill an information gap about out-of-school-time and other needs from their own perspectives.
