Atlanta Teens’ Conversations about Immigration [VIDEO]

by share

This semester, VOX took on a topic that is rampant in mainstream media, especially since the last presidential election: immigration. We took a look into the lives of teenage immigrants and children of immigrants, and amplified their voices though our VOX Investigates project. In order to fully explore this topic, we provided a series of self-expression workshops for our peers who are immigrants in partnership with several community organizations, including: Center for Pan Asian Community Services, Global Village Project, Latin American Association, New American Pathways, and Raksha. These teen-to-teen workshops resulted in a lot of content, starting with the video above. You can hear more from these teens and read our special print edition at our community event.
