We got together with Youth United, United Way of Greater Atlanta’s teen board in November for a night of brainstorming, interviewing and post-Halloween trick-or-treating fun. In this workshop, Youth United, along with VOX teens and adult supporters, discussed interviewing techniques for their social justice projects and volunteerism.
With my co-facilitator Farasha Simmons, I got to support amazing teens who jumped right into practicing these skills by role-playing interviewee, interviewer and videographer. A lot of great ideas were shared for Youth United’s service projects, and VOX is looking forward to seeing the team’s finished works.
