Atlanta has been home to numerous influential artists for decades, with Complex Magazine naming it the best rap city in the United States and abroad. It is home to more than 300 recording studios, 60 music venues, and 30 festivals that support native artists, according to visittheusa.com. Opium and Quality Control Music are also huge Atlanta-based music labels, but the success of Atlanta rappers is primarily attributed to the support the city provides to emerging artists.
