Journalism Fellowship
The Atlanta Teen Voices Journalism Fellowship is an opportunity for teens to take a deep dive into the principles, importance, and skills of journalism and the journalism industry. Participants in the Journalism Fellowship will have opportunities to grow their skills in researching, writing, editing, video production, podcast production, interviewing, and more. The Atlanta Teen Voices Journalism Fellowship is a 12-week program led by teens and journalism professionals where participants will increase their knowledge of journalism, and produce, and publish multi-media content. VOX
Investigates
VOX Investigates is a semester-long project in which teens enrolled in VOX’s after-school program take a deep dive into different topics of that are important to Atlanta-area youth. Through reporting, self-expression and publishing, we share teens’ voices, information and resources to make change.
VOX Investigates teens work with professional journalists as mentors to produce video, audio and written stories, which are published online and in print.

Media Cafe
VMC 2025 – Sessions 1 (June 2-June 13) & 2 (June 16-June 27)*
VOX Media Café (VMC) will offer 2 in-person two-week sessions of skill building and media making. VMC is perfect for metro-Atlanta teens 13-19 interested in building and elevating skill sets around:
Journalism – Interviewing – Podcasting – Videography – Photography – Public Speaking
VOX Studios
At VOX Studios, teens don’t just make content; they gain valuable work experience. Through internships and work-based learning, teens are exposed to career based media production roles commissioned by community partners. From filming to editing to conducting interviews, VOX teens work on tight deadlines to create high-quality projects. They also are hired to create content for clients in the community, which gives them a chance to hone professional skills that make a real impact.
