You should never compare yourself to others because your journey is your own. You don’t have to have friends come with you. You can make it to the top alone.
Not every L is a loss. Sometimes the L is a lesson. And every loss is an answer to a lingering question.
You see others who broke records and question your hard work. When other people don’t believe in you, does your existence get irked?
Does it feel as though you can never feel joy about the things you’ve won? Or do you question if any real work has been done?
Every time I talk about an accomplishment, it feels like a boast; people say, “you just got lucky, be humble,” or, most popularly, “you’re doing the most.”
But you don’t have to hide it because of a miserable girl or boy, for you have to remember that comparison is the thief of joy.
