Calling all poets! Atlanta Word Works is hosting a poetry slam at Loudermilk Center on March 17 from 1-4pm. The top 10 poets will advance to finals on April 28 to compete for the chance to represent Atlanta at the Brave New Voices national youth poetry festival in Houston (July 18-21).

This poem was performed at an Atlanta Word Works open mic on January 27 at the Alliance Theater.
