What would you do for the ones you love? Would you risk bringing them back at all costs? In “Avengers: Endgame,” the Avengers reflect on the past, the present, and the future that is yet to come.
After a major defeat to Thanos in last year’s “Avengers: Infinity War,” the surviving Avengers try to put the pieces back together of what was once their lives. Despite half of the population being wiped out, hope reveals itself once again and the remaining Avengers must come together as one on a final mission.
Throughout the film, the Marvel Cinematic Universe really depicts how everything — strengths, weaknesses, family and sacrifice –are all on the line for one more shot at avenging a great loss.
Out of all 22 films under the belt of MCU, “Avengers: Endgame” is the most anticipated film of all time in the series. Sweeping in $350 million in North America and $1.2 billion worldwide, in just its opening weekend, the film is climbing up the ladder of box office smashes, including the possibility of overtaking “Titanic,” which swept in a shocking $2 billion worldwide in 1997.
While this is the hottest film in the world right now, it is also a sad farewell to some of our beloved Marvel characters. However, where there are goodbyes, there are hellos to our new Marvel Universe superheroes, who are now the sworn protectors of humanity.
