VOX Teen Poetry: “Bouquet”

|

singing in daylight

a plum daisy fix

swinging on breezes

patiently waiting for the blooming

of rights that were promised

for hundreds

thousands even

of years

promises of

change

peace

humanity

summer’s song

daylights aromas passing by

high early afternoon has halted still

lovely shudders

strawberry field of noontime

and butterfly dreams
