Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering at VOX! We are currently accepting volunteer applications for the Fall semester of the 2024-2025 school year.

GUIDE ON THE SIDE

We are looking for volunteers with experience in:
-Journalism basics (objectivity, sourcing, interviewing)
-Photography
-Audio recording and editing
-Video production
-Graphic design
-Copy editing
-Event planning
-Fundraising

If you are interested in volunteering at VOX this fall to support our VOX teens, please fill out this application form , and we will be in touch with information about next steps, including completing a background check.

VOLUNTEERING AT VOX

VOX welcomes adults, 21 and older, who would like to volunteer with our afterschool program for metro Atlanta teens. Our volunteers work directly with and for teens. Most importantly, VOX works with teen leaders in our community, and we take adult “fit” very seriously. Volunteers should honor VOX’s most important philosophies of:

– Teens first
– Be a “Guide on the Side,” not a “Sage on the Stage”
– Finish what you start
– Let the teens be in the driver’s seat; Honor youth-driven programming
– Experiential and immersive learning experiences for teens and adults

We look forward to working with you to provide a fruitful, personally tailored volunteer experience.
VOX does not provide court-mandated volunteer opportunities.

WORKPLACE VOLUNTEERING

Corporate volunteer opportunities are available and include drives for in-kind items, hosting a teen at your workplace and more.
