Vox blog: the story behind the story

Special Announcement Regarding COVID-19

by

Dear VOX Family,

In light of the unfolding news surrounding the coronavirus, VOX will be moving to virtual programming and remote work beginning Friday, 3/13. The closure is in effect until further notice. Teens, please keep in touch via GroupMe and email – you’ll receive updates about what’s being offered and when.

It is a tough call to close a loving and supportive space to teens and we do it with a heavy heart. However, the health and safety of the VOX community – teens, staff, board, volunteers and partners – is of utmost concern to us. We want to be proactive and solutions-focused so that our closure is hopefully a short one.

The next days and weeks present a lot of unknowns for all of us. But one thing is certainly true – the VOX community will stay connected and committed to the teens we serve!

Wishing you all peace in this strange time.

In the spirit of VOX,

Susan Landrum/Executive Director VOX ATL
