Interested in learning how to cover responses to social problems? Want to build trust and interest with your audience? Excited about writing positive stories — but want to avoid the fluff? Solutions journalism is rigorous reporting on what’s working to fix problems in our communities — and you can learn to do it in less than two hours. Join us on Monday, December 9 from 5:30-7:30pm for this free workshop.

The workshop will be facilitated by Keren Landman, an award-winning freelance journalist and recent recipient of the Solutions Journalism Network LEDE Fellowship. The workshop will take place at VOX ATL’s office in downtown Atlanta: 229 Peachtree St. NE, Suite 725, Atlanta, GA 30303. We are located in the International Tower at Peachtree Center, right above the Peachtree Center MARTA station. VOX ATL will provide dinner and parking validation (location will be shared after you register). You will also have a chance to hear from VOX ATL teens about their work and how you can get involved.
