Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) is proud to announce our 10th annual Teen Summit! As youth begin dating, it’s important they are equipped with the necessary tools to help them engage in healthy interaction. Teen Summit offers parents and teens an improved understanding of the ingredients that make up respectful relationships, as well as how to recognize the warning signs and patterns of dating violence.

The 2019 Teen Summit, “Action to Impact”, will explore what it means to positively impact our communities in supporting teens to engage in and maintain healthy relationships. Attendees will leave the event being able to answer the questions, “How do we measure the impact we have in our communities?” and “How can we create a ripple effect as a result of our collective efforts to take a stand against dating violence in our communities?”

Our Teens Against Dating Violence Advisory Board members will be highlighting the topic of bystander intervention through interactive role-playing and activities to educate teens and adults on effective bystander strategies and provide them with the skills necessary for safely responding to teen dating violence in their schools and communities.
