At VOX, teen publishing is our core program. Through publishing training, an editorial process and a tangible finished product, teens are better prepared with the skills that ensure their future success. They are connected to media professionals and to each other. And they are valued by their community as vital voices about topics that matter.
VOX Investigates prepares teens to become investigative journalists. It also prepares teens to ask questions about their communities, allows civic organizations in Atlanta to have a unique teen perspective on topics important to them, and shares with our city the issues that are affecting teenagers today.
Graduation Countdown provides teen staff members at VOX with small group trainings and one-on-one support in the areas that will best prepare them for life after high school. Topic areas include financial literacy, college application help, networking, and preparing resumes and digital branding. Learn more!
Atlanta Teen Voices allows teens from all over metro Atlanta to project their voices. Through partnerships with teen content creators, to our earned revenue workshops in the community, to amplifying the stories of young VOX alumni, ATV expands VOX’s reach. Learn more!
Girls Group provides young women on the VOX teen roster with small group trainings and publishing support in the subject matter that matters most to them. Each spring, VOX hosts a community-wide publishing event for teen girls called “Girl Code.” Learn more!
