VOX is Atlanta’s home for uncensored teen publishing and self-expression.

VOX creates a level playing field where teens collaborate directly with adults as peers.
VOX partners with media professionals so teens learn critical thinking, writing and publishing skills to help hone their voice.
VOX connects a widely diverse group of teens from all across metro Atlanta to one neutral space to share and develop their voices together.
VOX believes that the voice of young people is powerful and valuable and should be more present in metro Atlanta.

VOX’s program model is unique in the out of school time space.

Prepared. Connected. Valued.

VOX Teen Communications connects diverse metro Atlanta teens to resources for building their confidence, increasing their capacity to meet life’s demands and ensuring their future success. Read more about VOX’s impact.

VOX has continually equipped Atlanta-area teenagers with journalism skills and experience that they can use for life: post-high school, in college, careers and elsewhere. - Kelcie, VOX Alumna
This is an amazing organization. The staff is dedicated and highly capable and work hard with the teens they support. I am grateful that my child is part of this fantastic organization. - Beth, VOX Parent
VOX has had a positive impact on Atlanta teens for more than two decades, and our teen staff is truly invested in sharing an important perspective on topics that impact our present and future. - Tania, VOX Board Member and Alumna

We are excited to announce that we will be inducting Tania Dowdy into the VOX Hall of Fame at Homecoming on November 12th!

Tania (pictured here on the left) joined VOX through the 2004 Raise Your Voice Summer Program as a rising junior at Stephenson High School. She was a leader and prolific writer. After graduating high school in 2006, she applied to serve as an alumni intern while attending Emory at Oxford and Emory University. "My two strongest qualities are listening and leadership," she wrote. Nothing could be more true. And VOX is profoundly lucky to benefit from Tania's skills. She was integral in the development of our Alumni Council, where she continues to help lead alumni engagement, and now serves as a VOX Board member, chairing our governance committee.

Join us at Homecoming as we celebrate Tania! Details at bit.ly/voxhoco16.
